After Lura's death in 1930, Zed married at least three other times.  The South Bend Tribune records a marriage license to Zed and Mary Buchanan on 06 Apr 1938.  The marriage application is linked above.  Mary was born 06 Jul 1873 in Knox IN to Albert and Katherine (Clements) Miller.  She was divorced in 1920 from her first marriage and widowed in 1935 from her second marriage.  The St. Joseph County Library in South Bend IN has an obituary index for the South Bend Tribune.  The index includes the obituary of a Mrs. Mary E. Campbell, as published on 28 May 1939, Section 2, Page 7, but I was unable to locate the obituary (even after a couple of searches).  I am not certain whether the Mary in the obituary index is this same Mary Campbell.

After Mary's death, Zed had a license issued to marry Mamie Wilson.  The license was published in the South Bend Tribune on 05 Oct 1943 and the application is also linked above.  Mamie was born 24 Jan 1887 in New Carlisle IN to A. B. and Lou (Ranstead) Wykoff.  Mamie was the widow of Clyde N. Wilson, by whom she had a son Harold.  Clyde and Harold were policemen.  Mamie Campbell died 17 Apr 1949 and had her obituary published in the South Bend Tribune on 19 Apr 1949.  Mamie's funeral notice was also published in the Tribune on 21 Apr 1949.  Mamie was buried in Hamilton Cemetery.

After Mamie's death, Zed married his fourth wife, in October 1950, to Evelyn Robison. The wedding was held in South Bend IN, although no marriage application was recorded or license issued from St. Joseph County IN.  Probably the license was issued from a neighboring county.  Indiana required the license to be issued from the county that received the marriage application.  Evelyn was born in Knox IN (Census has IL) on 24 May 1890 to George G. and Elizabeth Sheldon.  She married about 1909 to Albert Robison, from whom she was widowed when Albert died in South Bend in 1939.  Albert and Evelyn had at least three children; James (born about 1910), George (born about 1911) and Elizabeth (born about 1912).  Evelyn died 11 May 1964 and was buried on 16 May 1964 in St. Joseph Memorial Garden at N41 43.282 W86 11.074 (view), Mishawaka, IN, sharing a marker with Zed Campbell, who died in 03 Feb 1969.

13. Lura Bell Martin was born 22 Feb 1881 (she was 41 years old on 22 Feb 1922 according to voter registration card dated 09 Oct 1922) in Tippecanoe IN. She died 12 Mar 1930 in Pierceton IN (Wooster IN, according to Cemetery Record) and was buried in Spring Creek Cemetery at N41 06.862 W85 42.255., Sidney, Kosciusko Co. IN.  Lura’s parents were George Martin and Albina Severns.
